Using feedback in an exam
At Plume, corrections address the student's own homework and practice responses. A paragraph that retells events, for example, needs more explanation of how the writer presents an idea and how it supports the answer.
Students work on choosing evidence and developing an argument, then practise under time limits. The sample essay feedback shows the corrections; our English exam and discursive writing exercise show the questions and practice adapting to a new prompt.
