ACE lists these subjects alongside other courses. Its published course list does not include English Advanced; Plume also teaches English Advanced.
At Plume, Advanced and Extension 1 are separate courses. Both together cost A$1,850 per term and include two weekly classes. ACE's full Advanced coverage within an Extension 1 enrolment needs confirmation, so the single-course prices above cannot establish a combined-course saving.
ACE's Year 12 structure has four eight-week teaching terms, an optional eight-week review course and a ten-week HSC Exam Program. Its teaching terms differ from school terms. Teaching for the exam
Plume's HSC exam specialists teach the content, then check how students use it under time pressure. Weekly timed quizzes and a supervised term exam sit within the regular course. Your class tutor marks your homework and practice responses, so they can follow up on the mistakes they saw during the lesson.
In Maths, we teach students to choose a method and show the working behind the answer. Our Maths Advanced worked questions include corrections and further practice. In Economics, we work on explaining cause and effect and supporting an argument with evidence. Our essay guide includes a corrected paragraph and timed planning practice.
ACE's lessons cover concepts, exam questions and revision. Teaching terms already include exams, and its portal provides lesson videos, solutions and tutor help. Epping and trial terms
Plume is at 30/41 Rawson Street, Epping. ACE's contact page lists Suite 8/44-46 Oxford Street, Epping, and Parramatta. Its 2024 Chatswood opening announcement is still online, but that campus is absent from the current contact page; class availability there needs confirmation.
ACE's obligation-free trial ends two weeks after the first lesson or after the first payment. Its terms do not say whether trial lessons are charged on continuation.
Plume offers a two-week free trial with no new-student administration fee. If you enrol, both trial weeks are included in the term fee.
