What students get

Tutero's HSC program lists English Advanced, Maths Advanced, Extension 1 and Economics. Lessons fit the student's schedule and include revision planning, past papers and exam technique. The tutor's attention is on one student throughout the booked lesson.

At Plume, the class tutor teaches the topic and marks homework and practice answers. They can follow an error from the lesson into the student's written work and help them correct it. Lesson recordings are included.

For English, we teach students to build an argument, select evidence and answer the question under time pressure. Our sample essay feedback shows how the tutor explains changes to a response. Tutero's HSC English page also describes essay feedback, thesis development and textual analysis, including timed responses and unseen texts.

In Maths, Plume students practise choosing methods and showing their working. Economics classes cover cause and effect, evidence and written judgement. Our Maths worked questions and Economics essay guide show examples.
