English feedback
Plume teaches students to build an argument and explain how their textual evidence answers the question. Your class tutor marks your writing, with no limit on submissions. The included private hour is time to work on your own responses. Our sample essay feedback shows the comments a student receives.
Matrix English includes an hour of writing in each three-hour lesson, weekly written feedback, text study guides and an HSC-style mock exam.
Maths homework and exams
Plume's class tutor marks each student's working and explains the corrections. Students practise choosing a method and solving unfamiliar questions independently. Try our Maths Advanced worked questions or Extension 1 practice exam.
Matrix also has weekly quizzes and a term Topic Test under exam conditions. Its Maths Advanced page lists the topic sequence. The difference is in homework: Matrix's senior Maths policy describes completion checks and worked solutions. Plume gives feedback on the student's own attempt.
Trials and payment
Plume offers a two-week free trial. If you enrol, both trial weeks are included in your term fees. Choose a class from the times on our course pages; we will confirm your place and first lesson as soon as possible.
Matrix offers a free on-campus trial lesson without upfront payment, subject to availability. Eligible paid enrolments have a separate first-lesson money-back guarantee with notice and resource-return deadlines. See its trial options and guarantee conditions.
Matrix enrolments involve a full-term commitment and automatic re-enrolment. Its enrolment policy sets out withdrawal and automatic payment terms.
